[New Game] Gameloft Teams Up With Hasbro To Launch Littlest Pet Shop With An Overdose Of Cute

Gameloft has figured out what's been missing from most of its recent games. No, it's not a business model that relies on something other than in-app purchases. Gameloft just hasn't been bringing enough cute to your phone. Well, they're setting that straight with Littlest Pet Shop, a game so overflowing with cute that you won't be able to resist giggling and clapping your hands like an 8 year-old girl.

As we all know, the cuteness of animated characters is directly proportional to the size of their eyes. Gameloft has figured this out with Hasbro's help, which is why all 150 collectable pets in Littlest Pet Shop are undeniably adorable. As you collect more pets - like some forever alone crazy cat lady - the game lets you wash, feed, and play with your animals. With enough hard work, you can build homes and play areas for your pets too. Gameloft's online system can also link you up with friends that play the game so your pets can hang out together.
This title is basically a sandbox experience with a few mini games tossed in to keep the purchases flowing. Littlest Pet Shop is free, so expect to see a lot of "cute" in-app purchases if you decide to give it a go.

[New Game] Melesta's Toy Defense Comes To Android Become 'A Truly Great Leader' While Playing With Toys

Melesta Games' Toy Defense, a tower defense-style game that's already found a home on iOS, made its way to Android today, bringing with it a familiar tower defense dynamic with turrets and enemies pulled straight from your childhood toy chest.
If you've played other tower defense games, you know what you're in for with Toy Defense defend your "tower" using various upgradeable turrets, weapons, etc. as wave after wave of enemies march through. While Toy Defense doesn't invent a genre, it's a polished, thoughtful TD game that will undoubtedly please fans of the genre, while adding a few unique touches.
Players will defend 24 levels, with plenty of upgradeable units, and enjoy things like repairable/revivable towers, and the ability to "squash" enemies with the tap of a finger, lending a hand to your loyal defense units.

[New Game] Dragon Slayer Is A Magical Showdown Against An Army Of Ancient Reptiles

Forget ye old days of knights and nobility when you had to stick a dragon with a sword to slay the beast and win yonder fair lady. These days, medieval mythological warfare can be done via the comfort of your own phone. Dragon Slayer fulfills your fantasy by allowing you to engage in magical combat with a host of dragons, and dragon-like creatures.
As with most fantasy-based games, you can collect and upgrade equipment to become more efficient and ending the lives of rare, gargantuan reptiles. Each dragon has its own set of skills, magical abilities, and weaknesses to challenge you. It doesn't hurt that the graphics on this game are actually pretty slick-looking, too.

Dragon Slayer is free to play on the Play Store right now. There are in-app purchases to acquire items, though. Hopefully, they'll stay out of your way if you don't want them.

Creatorverse Takes The Rube Goldberg Machine To The Next Level, Lets You Create Basically Anything You Want And Share It With The World

If you had an open canvas to create basically anything and bring it to life, what would you do with it? That's essentially the question asked by Creatorverse, a new app that lets you do just that. It's actually a little difficult to explain; thankfully, Linden Research - yes, the same Linden Research behind Second Life - made a video that explains it pretty clearly.
So, with Creatorverse, you make things that do things. Then you share those things with everyone else, who can, in turn, make your things do more things. It's such a simple idea that can potentially result in some pretty amazing creations.
Creatorverse will set you back $5 in the Store - hit the widget and make some stuff.
